The Impact First Digital Development Summit aims
to create a space for technologists, global
development experts, private sector
entrepreneurs and global development funders
where together we explore the possibilities of
achieving impact through technology and data
innovations.
By showcasing not only
cutting edge technologies but tried and true
approaches, we want to see how and where scale
and impact has been achieved within a variety of
development sectors. We believe that technical
approaches should not be applied to individual
sectors alone, and by understanding the broad
application of technologies across agriculture,
health, education, governance and environmental
sectors, we can make meaningful gains.
I always love engaging in thoughtful dialect with my colleagues in global health and development, and this was no exception. Thanks for bringing together a wonderful group of people to exchange ideas and discuss how to make the world a better place.
The Impact First Summit will take place at
Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) at Praça do
Império, 1449-003 Lisboa, Portugal.
The event will take place in Western European
Standard Time (GMT). If Impact First is hosted
online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event
will take place in the same time zone.
Delegates from outside of Portugal are
responsible for determining whether they need
visas and applying for their own visas. You can
obtain a visa invitation letter from us to
support the application process. Participants
who require an entry visa must allow sufficient
time for the application procedure. Please
contact us should you need a letter of
recommendation to obtain your visa:

Tickets are transferable to other participants
and refundable up to 30 days prior to the event.
The refund will be processed to the credit card
used to purchase your ticket. Registration fees
may be refunded as follows:
Participants are responsible for making hotel
reservations and travel arrangements. Additional
